The Bujinkan Omaha Shibu was founded by Robert Mejias, as a satellite study group of the Bujinkan Happo Dojo. Robert began his training with the Bujinkan in the summer of 1999 with Shidoshi Don Houle of the Bujinkan Happo Dojo, located in Newton, NJ. While repeatedly paying respect to shidoshi Houle, he has continued to train with numerous other individuals within the Bujinkan community such as Shihan Joe Maurantonio, and Shihan Jack Hoban, through countless workshops.

Some activities and accomplishments include:

  • -Tai Kwon Do (5 years)
  • -Boxing (2 years)
  • -Karate (1 year)
  • -Hosted annual Omaha Ninpo seminars and workshops (3 years)
  • -Martial Art director of the Boys and Girls club of Omaha, NE (6 months)
